In order to promote her upcoming film, The Old Guard 2, the 49-year-old South African-American actress and producer appeared on the Thursday, May 8 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
When Kimmel asked Theron’s daughters, 12-year-old Jackson and 9-year-old August, how they felt about her job after seeing her in the movies and on the billboard, Theron spoke up about their reactions.
The Oscar-winning actress revealed, “My kids don’t respect me at all. It’s simply unreal; I consider myself to be rather modest, but occasionally I think, “There’s a f* Oscar right there.” They’re not impressed at all with me.
