ISLAMABAD: Son of great mountaineer late Mohammad Ali Sadpara, Sajid Ali Sadpara has added another feather to his cap by successfully climbing Nepal’s Dhaulagiri mountain, the world’s seventh highest peak at 8167 meters, without the need for oxygen.
“Alhamdulillah, Dhaulagiri summit without oxygen and unsupported yesterday 10 May,” Sadpara said on his Instagram account.
This remarkable achievement was made possible by the assistance of Seven Summit Treks Nepal and Sabroso Pakistan, with technical climbing equipment generously donated by Kailas, according to Karrar Haidri, Secretary, Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP).
According to him, Pakistan and the international climbing community are celebrating a historic and proud occasion.
