According to hospitals and first responders, Israeli attacks have killed at least 80 individuals throughout Gaza.
Several residences in the northern Jabalia area were hit overnight, killing 50 people, including 15 women and 22 children, according to the Indonesian hospital. The bodies of an additional nine people, seven of whom were children, were reported to the nearby al-Awda hospital.
According to the Israeli military, it hit fighters for Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas in the north. After rockets were fired into Israel on Tuesday, it issued an evacuation warning to the people of Jabalia and the surrounding territories.
As the UN’s humanitarian chief called on the UN Security Council to act to “prevent genocide” in Gaza, it followed suit.
