LONDON: Hasan Nawaz Sharif has been exonerated from bankruptcy by the UK government’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), allowing him to resume his role as a director of the company and conduct business as usual.
The UK government’s records indicate that Hasan’s bankruptcy was discharged on April 29, 2025.
“Hasan Nawaz Sharif’s bankruptcy has ended,” a legal source stated. The UK tax office has attested to the fact that Hasan has committed no crimes or violations. When no criminal activity is implicated, bankruptcy is discharged.
“Otherwise,” they stated, “if they discover non-compliance, UK tax authorities can enforce delay.” Hasan Nawaz is no longer subject to any debts or restrictions related to bankruptcy. He was only bankrupt for a year.
