Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has praised Iran’s efforts and assistance in reducing tensions in South Asia.
At least 31 civilians were killed in an unprovoked Indian attack on May 7, marking the most recent escalation in the long-running conflict between India and Pakistan. Pakistan responded by bringing down dozens of drones and six IAF fighter jets, including three Rafale.
“We are pleased with all the efforts of the international community and brotherly countries, especially Iran, which played a role in reducing tensions,” the DG ISPR stated in an exclusive interview with IRNA.
