ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that the federal government was dedicated to creating a digital environment that empowered women, encouraged inclusivity, and ensured that no one was left behind.
“We are working to ensure that women and girls can actively participate in and benefit from the digital transformation of our society through targeted policies, skills development programs, and gender-sensitive digital infrastructure,” Prime Minister Shehbaz stated in a statement on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2025.
“I offer my sincere congratulations to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for its leadership in promoting inclusive and equitable digital development globally on the occasion of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day,” he said.
