On April 23, India unilaterally closed its airspace for Pakistan for a month after tensions erupted after India’s Pahalgam false flag operation last month, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists. The following day, Pakistan returned the favor. The restrictions on airspace are having a severe negative impact on India.
Before the current term ends, the Aviation Division will issue a Notice to Airmen (Notam).
Since there has been no improvement in the circumstances that compelled Pakistan to take action, high-ranking sources told The News here on Saturday that the decision would be made in due process.
