ISLAMABAD According to reports on Monday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), along with opposition partners, is thinking of submitting motions of no-confidence against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
Party sources claim that the concept of a no-confidence move against the speaker was actively discussed at a recent meeting between Imran Khan, the founder of the PTI, his sisters, and his legal staff.
The founder received a briefing on the opposition alliance’s position, which included Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the leader of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, who has openly stated that he has no faith in the present speaker.
The sources also assert that the PTI founder gave the party’s leadership and affiliated opposition parties complete authority to carry out the motion’s planning.
