LAHORE: A notification about the dates of summer vacation in public and private schools throughout the state has been making the rounds on social media, but the School Education Department (SED) Punjab has flatly disputed its legitimacy.
The widely circulated announcement, which states that schools would observe summer break from May 22 to August 17, 2025, is completely fraudulent, a SED Punjab official explained on Monday.
The representative added that the information being spread online is false and misleading and that the department has not yet made an official decision regarding the summer vacation timetable.
The agency promised school administrators, parents, and students that a formal notification about the summer vacation would be made at the right time and through the appropriate channels.
