On Monday, the price of gold rose for the third day in a row both in Pakistan and worldwide.
The price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,000 on Monday to Rs342,500 a tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. In a same vein, 10 grams of gold now cost Rs293,638 after an increase of Rs3,429.
Significant changes also occurred in the worldwide gold market, as the price of an ounce of gold increased by $40 to $3,241.
However, Pakistan’s silver prices stayed the same, with 10 grams of silver costing Rs 2,923 and a tola of 24-karat silver remaining steady at Rs 3,410.
