RAWALPINDI: Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the party chairman, revealed on Tuesday that Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who is currently incarcerated, has reaffirmed that he has never closed the door to communication with the establishment.
Gohar said to reporters following his meeting with the PTI founder at Adiala Jail that the former prime minister had previously only turned down negotiations with the current administration and not the military establishment.
His comments coincided with media claims that Imran, who has been in custody since August 2023, had agreed to a settlement with the government following an offer to negotiate from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
