On June 20, 2021, the body of Noor Mukadam, the 27-year-old daughter of former diplomat Shaukat Ali Mukadam, was discovered dead at a home in Islamabad. Zahir Jaffer, the son of an industrialist, was the prime suspect in the case and was arrested at the crime scene after brutally killing her. The victim’s family filed a first information report (FIR) on the same day, demanding justice for their daughter’s grizzly murder.
