There are now eight separate forest fires in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a result of the country’s continuous heatwave, which poses major safety and environmental risks.
The extreme weather conditions are predicted to continue throughout the week, with temperatures in most parts of the country expected to be well above normal, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
Although the fire has been contained in certain parts, work is still being done to put out fires in other areas.
According to a report released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department, fires have started in eight distinct regions’ forested areas, including the challenging hilly area of Uski, Kaldara in Dargai, Buner, Bagh Kundi Chakdara, and Allah Dhand Batkhela Forest Range.
