LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the opening of a new direct flight route from Lahore to Paris, allowing Pakistanis to go to Paris without worrying about a layover.
The national flag carrier said in a statement on Thursday that the new route will provide weekly non-stop flights from Lahore to the French capital every Wednesday as part of an expansion of its network of European destinations after a protracted suspension, according to The News.
“The PIA’s first flight from Lahore to Paris will take off on June 18,” claimed the carrier. “A weekly flight from Lahore to Paris will take off directly on Wednesday.”
Months have passed since the airline started operating again in Europe in January.
