PESHAWAR: The event announcing Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir’s official promotion to field marshal was not attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The absence of Gandapur from the celebration was extensively observed, even though the other three chief ministers were there. In response, Faraz Mughal, the spokesperson for the KP chief minister, gave an explanation.
As the explanation for the KP chief minister’s absence, the spokesperson stated, “Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was attending a party meeting for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.”
