In order to verify the dates of Eid ul Adha this year, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene in Islamabad on Tuesday to observe the Zil Hajj moon 1446 Hijri.
The meeting will be chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, the Committee’s chairman.
Additionally, in order to observe the Eid ul Adha moon, the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will convene separately at their respective headquarters.
The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco) has predicted that Muslims in Pakistan will celebrate Eid ul Adha on June 7, which occurs on the tenth day of Zil Hajj, which also celebrates the Hajj pilgrimage.
