ISLAMABAD: From May 27 (night) to May 31, with sporadic breaks, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted windstorm and rain-thunderstorm activity in the country’s upper and central regions.
According to the department, a westerly wave is anticipated to reach the country’s higher regions on May 28, causing broad weather activity, while moist currents are still advancing into the upper and central areas.
This weather system is predicted to cause windstorms, rain-thunderstorms, hailstorms, and isolated torrential downpours across a large portion of the nation.
Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, and the Galliyat region are among the impacted places.
