Concerns among businesses over the decline in law and order have grown after an armed robbery plundered a mobile phone shop in Karachi’s Defence Phase 5, which is within the jurisdiction of Darakhshan Police and is situated on Badar Commercial Street.
The impacted trader claims that four individuals showed up in a vehicle. Three went into the store, while one stayed out.
One suspect entered the room claiming to talk on a cell phone while wearing a white shalwar kameez. Two more people entered with pistols after him, both wearing green and blue shalwar kameez.
The suspects plundered the store and held the traders hostage at gunpoint. They made off with Rs 30,000 in cash, three other pricey cell phones, and two iPhones, including a 16 Pro Max.
