According to a source, Johnny Depp is in “advanced talks” to reprise his role in a sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The Express claims that Depp’s return to the role of Jack Sparrow after his victory in a libel case against his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2022 is “very close to being a done deal.”
The movie would be a significant comeback for the actor, who has mostly avoided big Hollywood projects since his well-publicized legal dispute with Heard, albeit the report is not yet confirmed.
According to the rumor, Depp was in “advanced talks” for the sixth installment of the popular movie.
“It’s very close to being a done deal,” the source stated, quoting a senior executive show.
