Ukraine’s SBU security service reported Tuesday that it had used explosives to hit the rail bridge and road that connect the Crimean peninsula and Russia below sea level.
The SBU said in a statement that it had previously destroyed the supports of the bridge, a vital supply line for Russian forces in Ukraine, using 1,100 kilograms (2,420 pounds) of explosives that were detonated early in the morning.
