KARACHI: Pakistan has agreed to prolong the ban on Indian airlines operating in its airspace until August 23 by an additional month.
In a recent Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), the Pakistan Airport Authority reiterated that overflight permits for aircraft registered in India will continue to be suspended.
The NOTAM states that it is strictly forbidden for any aircraft registered in India to use Pakistani airspace for any purpose, including transit and overflights.
Since their first implementation on April 23, the restrictions have been continuously extended.
According to the Pakistan Airport Authority, there are no exceptions to the prohibition, which is in force until further notice and applies to all aircraft registered in India.
