The Indian cinema community, especially the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), is strongly criticizing Indian musician and actor Diljit Dosanjh for rumors that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir may appear in his next movie Sardaar Ji 3.
Following the devastating incident in Pahalgam, India-held Kashmir, in April that killed 26 civilians and led to a renewed ban on Pakistani singers performing in India, the dispute broke out. The purported inclusion of Hania Aamir in the movie, along with fellow Pakistani musicians Nasir Chinyoti, Danial Khawar, and Saleem Albela, was vehemently denounced by FWICE.
