When a man snatched up the baby and banged him to the floor in the arrivals hall, he suffered severe spine injuries and fractures to his head.
The horrific event happened shortly after the boy and his mother landed in Russia and was caught on surveillance tape that was eventually made public by the Russian news agency Mash.
