According to Emirates News Agency-WAM, the United Arab Emirates has formally refuted accusations that it is providing lifetime Golden Visas to people of particular nationalities, describing them as unfounded and deceptive.
Authorities said in a statement issued by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) that some websites and local and international media outlets have misrepresented that UAE Golden Visas can be obtained for life through foreign consulting offices or by paying a one-time fee.
The explanation comes after a number of Indian news organizations, including Press Trust of India (PTI), The Times of India, and The Hindu, reported on a trial program for Golden Visas that is “nomination-based.”
These sources claim that lifetime Golden is now available to people from Bangladesh and India.
