After being captured on camera canoodling with a woman who wasn’t his wife at a rock concert, the CEO of the technology company Astronomer Inc. quit, the company announced on Saturday.
On its LinkedIn site, the organization shared a written statement claiming that its leaders “are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
According to the statement, the board of directors approved Andy Byron’s offer to step down as CEO. Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is acting as the interim CEO after Byron was put on leave on Friday.
