ISLAMABAD: A number of films showing landslides and automobiles being washed away in flash floods from Gilgit Baltistan to Islamabad have surfaced as the nation struggles with the devastation wrought by floods following intense rainfall.
The video, which has gone viral on social media, depicts a car floating in floodwaters, leaving its occupants defenseless.
When the residents attempted to drive their vehicle close to the storm drain, the increased water flow swept them away with their vehicle.
Rescue officials said they have started a search and are using a helicopter to find people who were washed away by the storm.
