ISLAMABAD In a significant diplomatic move, Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed in principle to allow those with official and diplomatic passports to enter the country without a visa.
The agreement was reached in Dhaka during a high-level meeting between Bangladesh’s Home Minister Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
When Minister Naqvi arrived at the Ministry of Home Affairs, his counterpart, who is now on an important visit to Bangladesh, welcomed him with open arms. Before the two parties started talking, he was given a guard of honor.
The two ministers discussed a wide range of bilateral and mutually beneficial topics during the meeting, with an emphasis on enhancing law enforcement and internal security cooperation.
