PESHAWAR: The invitation to an all-party conference (APC) issued by the PTI-led provincial administration for tomorrow (Thursday) has been turned down by the opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
To address the current spike in terrorist activity, KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has called a meeting of the APC at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar tomorrow.
After the opposition parties turned down his offer, Gandapur told reporters in Peshawar on Wednesday, “Those who won’t attend the APC will reveal they have no concern for the people.”
The development occurs just days after the opposition parties and the provincial government reached an agreement on the distribution of Senate seats, demonstrating a rare situation in which they were in agreement and even carried out their agreement.
