CHILAS: Three days after a fatal flash flood devastated Babusar Top, the body of three-year-old Abdul Hadi, son of Dr. Mishaal Fatima, was found on Wednesday night close to Dasar in the Thak Babusar region.
Around 7:00 p.m., locals noticed the body next to a creek and quickly called the police. The body was found and taken to Chilas Hospital by Gilgit Baltistan Scouts. When a family returning from Skardu was washed away by a flash flood caused by an unexpected cloudburst, Abdul Hadi had vanished.
Dr. Mishaal Fatima, who dove into the torrent to save the kid, and her brother-in-law, Fahad Islam, were killed in the tragedy.
When tragedy struck, a family from Lodhran was enjoying a picnic in the picturesque area.
