At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 74 runs in the third and final Twenty20 International match on Thursday.
Bangladesh’s batting unit managed to muster 104 runs before being bowled out in the 17th over, their third-lowest total against Pakistan in the format, while chasing a formidable 179-run target.
With a valiant 35 off 34 deliveries, bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin continued to lead the home team in scoring, while opening batsman Mohammad Naim (10) was the only other batter to reach double digits as the rest of the Bangladeshi batsmen were unable to hold off a merciless Pakistani bowling assault.
