Under the direction of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) authorized a number of economic policies meant to support affordable housing, industrial growth, and price stability.
The ECC approved a significant plan to build affordable homes throughout the nation during the high-level conference. Sources claim that the government will finance the construction of 50,000 affordable homes under the Mark-up Subsidy Risk Sharing Scheme.
Loans between Rs2 million and Rs3.5 million will be available under the proposed framework for a maximum of 20 years. The plan is anticipated to stimulate economic activity and the housing industry, according to sources at the meeting.
