Samantha Murphy vanished from her Ballarat, Victoria, home on February 4th, and hasn’t been seen since.
Despite a thorough search following her disappearance, the 51-year-old mother of three has not been located, according to the police.
Wednesday saw the arrest of a 22-year-old guy at his Ballarat home, which is located roughly 115 kilometers (70 miles) northwest of Melbourne. He hasn’t made a plea yet.
Police stated on Thursday that he had attacked Ms. Murphy on purpose the day she vanished in a forest area close to her East Ballarat home, where she was known to exercise.
