Kirsten Dunst talked about playing her Bring It On character, Torrance Shipman, again and even thought about taking the part in certain situations.
The 41-year-old actor isn’t totally opposed to the notion of seeing any classic movies again, especially the cheerleading universe of a well-liked sports drama.
The actress initially mentioned a possible remake in her most recent GQ cover story, saying, “People want us to make another Bring It On too.” This implied that she wasn’t ruling out the possibility of working on a sequel if a “good script” came her way.
“I have no idea what our positions would be or anything like that. I discussed it with the director, Peyton Reed,” she went on.
The Spider-Man actress was asked about her thoughts on retaliation when she appeared to Entertainment Tonight at the opening of her most recent science fiction film, Civil War.
It depends, after all. She began by joking, “Everyone’s bringing back their stuff, right?” before acknowledging the fans’ enthusiasm for the “little throwback.”
She did, however, clarify that she would only take the role “as long as it’s not embarrassing.”
