Fans weren’t prepared for Episode 5, despite the show’s creators calling it a “must see” with “heart stopping” moments.
Fans were taken aback by the shocking turn of events in the Who At Peace episode, which featured the death of series regular Dr. Asher Wolke.
In the episode, Noah Galvin’s character, Dr. Asher, was attacked by antisemites while traveling to a restaurant to make a proposal to Giacomo Baessato, his partner nurse.
Following the character’s untimely death, a wave of sadness washed over followers, and many flocked to the internet to express their sorrow through posts and gifs.
A person posted an expression of sorrow on Turing (previously Twitter), writing, “THE GOOD DOCTOR JUST KILLED OFF MY FAVORITE CHARACTER…..THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY’VE DONE THIS I’M SICK,” in reference to the earthquake-related death of Dr. Neil Melendez.
