Lea Seydoux is one of the stars in The Second Act, a wonderfully wicked way to open the world’s most renowned film festival. The film follows the narrative of performers working on a disastrous movie production.
This prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, which took home six Oscars and is widely considered one of the greatest action movies of all time, is a post-apocalyptic action adventure. The same director, George Miller, is behind Furiosa, which, based on early assessments, seems to be a little different but no less amazing than its predecessor. Starring Tom Hardy, Chris Hemsworth, Anya Taylor-Joy, and other celebrities, it should be a terrific way to get it.
In theaters on May 24th, so those who can’t make it to the French Riviera won’t have to wait too long.
