Following mob attacks on foreign citizens in Bishkek, Pakistani students are still returning home in groups, and on Tuesday, 347 more students arrived in Islamabad.
Early in the morning, a group of roughly 167 students from the Kyrgyz capital arrived at the federal cabinet via Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) inaugural flight. At 5:26 a.m., a private airplane flight arrived with a group of 180 additional pupils.
Until yet, more than 800 pupils have been evacuated.
On Monday, more than 300 Pakistanis took different aircraft back to Islamabad and Lahore after their trip to Bishkek.
At least five Pakistani students were injured when mob violence broke out in Bishkek last Friday, targeting a number of foreign and Pakistani students.
