Daybell, 55, was accused by prosecutors of having a thirst for “money, power, and sex” and of being involved in the deaths of his wife Tammy Daybell and two of her children along with his mistress Lori Vallow.
Daybell was convicted guilty of killing Ms. Daybell, seven-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow, and sixteen-year-old Tylee Ryan following a two-month trial.
This could now result in his execution.
On Thursday, the Ada County, Idaho, jury delivered their judgments.
Daybell is a science fiction writer who is said to have attracted readers with his apocalyptic works with Mormon influences.
The children’s disappearance captivated American news audiences and set off a months-long search.
JJ and Tylee—what happened to them?
Two kids went missing from the Idaho city of Rexburg in September 2019.
After months of searching, authorities did not discover JJ and Tylee’s disfigured bodies at a Daybell-owned remote property until June 2020.
JJ’s arms were restrained with duct tape in front of him, and his torso was covered in trash bags. Tylee’s body was blackened.
After the shocking finding, Daybell was taken into custody.
