There are large shoes for Ryan Seacrest to fill.
Longtime “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak announced his retirement last year. It was then made public that Seacrest, who is best known for hosting “American Idol,” would succeed him. Seacrest is now formally taking over from Sajak.
“Well, Ryan, this is it,” Sajak informed him in a recent teaser video uploaded on the “Wheel of Fortune” YouTube channel.
PAT SAJAK HAS A “INTACT” REPUTATION AND IS GOING BIG: “He’ll draw eyeballs every time.”
Impressive, Pat,” in response from Seacrest.
White responded, “Ryan, I know the contestants are going to love you.”
“I think what you’re going to enjoy most is meeting the players and getting to know the audience at home,” Sajak stated to him.
Seacrest replied, “It’s such a part of people’s lives,” and Sajak replied, “People love this show, they come up to us every day and thank us for a half hour where they can watch with the whole family.”
The “Wheel of Fortune” rookie thanked Sajak and White, saying, “You guys make it look so easy.” Sajak told him, “Well, you’re never going to find a better job, and you’re never going to find a better co-host.”
The promo concluded with a picture of Seacrest and White, the official new hosts of “Wheel of Fortune,” posing shoulder to shoulder. White thanked him for his good remarks.
