Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari blamed the previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government for grave mistakes in the past that created the conditions for the resurgence of terrorism in the country, following the announcement that the federal government would be hosting an all-parties conference (APC) to discuss the recently launched anti-terror operation, Azm-e-Istehkam.
“KP and Balochistan provinces are seeing an increase in terrorism, once again,” Bilawal stated on Monday at a press conference in Peshawar.
Except for some “grave mistakes” committed by the PTI government, he continued, the armed forces had effectively crushed the terrorists and destroyed their networks across the nation.
Without identifying him, former Foreign Minister Bilawal criticized the governments of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the KP and the Centre for grave errors that gave rise to terrorism.
