Carol Hunt, 61, passed away on Tuesday night along with her daughters Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28. The attack occurred at their Hertfordshire home.
Attendees at the Bushey memorial ceremony this morning included neighbors and friends of Mrs. Hunt, who were described as being “together in grief” by Lea Holloway, Dionne Smith, and Abigail Phillips.
Witnessed by reporters when Carol first met her husband John, Ms. Holloway said, “She was a lovely, lovely person.” We are in shock at what transpired. We were a four, and we’re down to three now. It doesn’t appear genuine.”
She also expressed her condolences for Mrs. Hunt’s husband,
I have no idea what it would be like,” the woman remarked. “Their lives were taken far too soon while they were navigating through life. It’s the stuff from horror films.”
On Thursday afternoon, the Newmarket racecourse observed a minute of silence in memory of Mr. Hunt, and jockeys displayed their condolences by donning black armbands.
While murder suspect Kyle Clifford is still in the hospital, police are searching an Enfield home.
