In order to protect visitor safety, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) on Wednesday began a major operation to break and remove melting glaciers at several areas. Director General KDA Shabbir Khan is issuing the orders for this endeavor.
As instructed, Deputy Director Ameen-ul-Hassan assembled a specialized team under the direction of Building Inspector Faizan Khan. The group is aggressively using large machines to remove glaciers that are melting.
The Saif-ul-Muluk Road and Chitta Katha Lake, two of the most visited locations in the Naran Valley with thousands of visitors, could be endangered by these glaciers.
All visitors are advised to exercise caution, according to the administration. We highly recommend that visitors not take.
Additionally, travelers are urged to stay away from hazardous paths that are prone to slipping.The glaciers at several tourist destinations in Kaghan and Naran have begun to melt as a result of the rising temperatures in the area. Two visitors from Punjab were tragically killed a few days ago when a glacier suddenly collapsed while they were snapping pictures and buried beneath the snow.
