Following the attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday night that claimed the lives of twelve Druze children and teens, ministers convened in an emergency meeting. Hezbollah has disavowed any accountability.
The cross-border incident proved to be the deadliest in the months of gunfire between the two sides.
The incident has increased concerns that tensions, which have so far been largely controlled, may explode into full-scale conflict.

It stated that it was “also working on a diplomatic solution along the Blue Line [the unofficial frontier between Israel and Lebanon] that will end all attacks once and for all” .
According to Lebanese official media, two people were killed by an Israeli drone strike on Monday morning outside the village of Shaqra in Lebanon, which is located around 6.5 kilometers (four miles) from the Israeli border. Israel has not responded on the findings.
As fears of Israeli reprisals mount, Air France has become the latest airline to halt operations to and from Beirut. Eurowings, Swiss International Air Lines, and Lufthansa have all announced similar suspensions of flights.
The young victims’ burials in Majdal Shams were held on Sunday in the midst of visceral anguish. Numerous thousands of people gathered to watch the caskets covered in it.
