The spokesperson for the MoFA issued a statement saying, “All Pakistanis were advised to avoid travel to Lebanon till further notice, in view of recent developments and the prevailing security situation in the region.”
It is recommended that all Pakistani nationals who are currently living in Lebanon depart the country as soon as commercial planes are still operating. The spokeswoman said, “Those who are staying in Lebanon are advised to exercise extreme caution, especially with regard to vulnerable areas.”
