People who have been affected by inflation can breathe a sigh of relief as the federal government is anticipated to declare a decrease in the cost of petroleum products in the next fortnightly review on August 15, 2024.
Sources within the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) predict that the cost of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene will drop significantly.
It is predicted that the cost of gasoline will decrease by over Rs9 per litre, and the cost of diesel may decrease by over Rs8.5 per litre.
The biggest drop in pricing is anticipated for kerosene, which is mostly used in rural areas and could drop by more than Rs12 per liter.
