In a recent television interview, Qamar talked about his emotional and psychological struggles after being abducted and the subsequent viral leak of a private film.
The writer of the critically acclaimed drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho said that he had a great fondness for Pakistan, but he also stated that recent events had made him question his capacity to stay in the country.
Qamar said in a tearful voice, “I have always loved Pakistan deeply, but these recent developments have shaken my faith in my place here.”
