KARACHI: According to police and hospital officials cited by Geo News on Sunday, a young girl in Karachi’s Saddar neighborhood was allegedly sexually assaulted and killed before being dumped in a trash dump.
The 12-year-old victim’s body was discovered, per the police, hidden in a gunny bag from the trash dump next to Lukcy Star.
As per the police report, the victim appeared to be a “destitute girl from her appearance”. They went on to say that an investigation was being conducted to find out the case’s specific circumstances.
For a medical examination, the girl’s body was sent to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), according to Chief Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed.
