Today, the Green Pakistan Initiative’s offices were visited by the Standing Committee on National Food Security and Research of the National Assembly. Committee members were briefed on the initiative’s many projects during their visit.
The briefing addressed a number of important topics, such as:
- Land Management and Information System
- Agribusiness Centers
- Handling Water
- Agri-Service Enterprise
The National Seed Development and Regulation Authority’s establishment was also communicated to the members of the committee.
To share with other members and spread the word more broadly, the standing committee asked for a comprehensive presentation on Green Pakistan Initiative projects.
Members applauded the Green Pakistan Initiative’s initiatives to start long-term projects that will guarantee Pakistan’s food security.
