Two residents of Keighley, West Yorkshire, Mohammed Shabir, 44, and Calum Sunderland, 25, have been charged jointly with four charges of murder and one count of attempted murder.
The two have been placed under arrest pending their appearance at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 28.
In the wee hours of Wednesday, August 21, Bryonie Gawith, 29, commonly known as B, passed away together with her three children, Denisty Birtle, 9, Oscar Birtle, 5, and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle.
Authorities think the fire at their Bradford, Westbury Road house was started on purpose.
The family has been receiving assistance from specialized policemen, one of whom is Bryonie’s partner Jonathan.
Four more persons are still being looked into, according to West Yorkshire Police. They are as follows:
– a 39-year-old male who was detained on suspicion of murder at the scene and is still in critical condition at the hospital.
After being detained on suspicion of murder and attempted murder on Friday, the 36-year-old man was questioned and later released on conditional bail.
