All election forms uploaded to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) official website are now subject to a thorough vetting process, including crucial documents like Form 45 and Form 46.
Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja approved the verification procedure and the officials assigned to it; an official announcement was made on Thursday.
The announcement said that teams of officers from the ECP have been assigned nationwide to confirm election forms 45, 46, 47, 48, and 49. The validity and accuracy of forms pertaining to the general elections and any ensuing by-elections shall be guaranteed by these officials.
The notification went on to detail the principal officers in charge of the verification process. The team headed by Muhammad Nasir Khan will be in charge of confirming the electoral paperwork.
