Since their son Omer, 22, was abducted by Hamas on October 7 while he was stationed at a base close to Kibbutz Nir Oz, Ronen and Orna Neutra claimed their lives had been completely destroyed and they were left in a state of perpetual sorrow and uncertainty. Omer is an American-Israeli citizen who was raised on Long Island, New York, and he currently serves in the Israel Defense Forces.
It’s crazy. Even if we constantly experience pain and anxiety, we nevertheless need to perform at a very high and intense level. We are on the road every single day.
We are fighting for his life,” Orna stated to News.
Speaking with international leaders, Orna and Ronen have been touring the globe and begging with them to step in and assist their son. They claimed that they are just being parents in terms of how they are managing the pressure.
In no way do we think of ourselves as unique. We are your typical parents. Our Long Island small business is ours. Our peaceful, ordinary life was snapped away from us. And Ronen added, “We want to get back to that.”
Ronen stated that a hostage agreement was the best way to solve the issue during his statements last week at the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas.
